Oh My! Martin LX1E Ed Sheeran.
I absolutely forgot about one of the main brands in the acoustic domain!
Here is the news from Martin & Co.
OVERVIEW
Comfortable, portable, and distinctively Martin!
Apart from the Martin Dreadnought Junior Acoustic Electric Guitar, the Martin LX1E has an even smaller body.
The Ed Sheeran Acoustic-Electric Guitar is a small travel and student guitar with a solid Sitka spruce soundboard atop the modified 0-14 body to guarantee a tight, rich tone. The Fishman Ion-T electronics let you electrify that sound for performance flexibility. Solid Morado fretboard and bridge, 23″ scale, Stratabond modified low-oval neck, and Martin’s patented mortise/tenon neck joint. Gotoh nickel tuners.
Designed in collaboration with award-winning recording artist Ed Sheeran, the LX1E Ed Sheeran Signature Edition features Ed’s signature “+” sign on the headstock and album logo laser-etched on the solid sapele top. Stage-ready, this model is small enough to take anywhere and comes equipped with SP Lifespan Martin strings and a padded gig bag.
